Fruit Cup Fade: Part 1.

For the Rainbow Challenge, one of my projects is a Cicibebe Sprinkles blanket, and want to take you through the process with me. 

"Cicibebe has been carefully designed to replicate the traditional style of fair isle knitting without the need for multiple balls of yarn. This soft and luxurious yarn is perfect for baby projects.

April 15 - May 12 : RED

I am making a corner to corner moss stitch blanket, with the only rule, that I work as much as I can in the given time frame, but not more than one ball of each colour. There will be a minimum of seven parts to the blanket - to coincide with the rainbow challenge. Fruit Cup Fade is beginner friendly.

My red is slightly on the salmon side - #595-10 Raspberry Sprinkles

Also needed: 5 mm crochet hook.Written in US terms.

Directions:

Make a chain of 3.

Row 1: Sk 2 ch, (sc, ch 1, sc) in last ch, turn. (2 sc)

Row 2: Ch 3, sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, (sc, ch 1, sc) in ch-2 sp, turn. (3 sc)

Row 3: Ch 3, (sc, ch 1) in each ch-1 sp across*, (sc, ch 1 sc) in ch-3 sp, turn. (4 sc)

*the 1st sc of each row is in the chain space between the increase stitches, make sure you don't miss it. 

Row 4 - 80: Ch 3, (sc, ch 1) in each ch-1 sp across, (sc, ch 1 sc) in ch-3 sp, turn.

Do not fasten off. 

Some red will be reserved for the next section, which will be posted once the orange part of the challenge commences.
